March of Dimes 2007
Bank Night Accountant Information

The March of Dimes is in need of volunteer accountants to assist with WalkAmerica Bank Nights.  Under the leadership of our Bank Night Chair, Mert Guin, we have streamlined the process in order to be most effective with the limited time we have available to get all donations in the bank. 

The following will detail our request:

Dates and Times of Operation: 

Thursday, April 26, 5:30 – 9 p.m. (15 volunteers needed)
Friday, April 27^th, 5:30 – 9 p.m. (20 volunteers needed)
            First TN Bank, 4990 Poplar Ave
Saturday, April 28^th – 7:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. – WalkAmerica Day
(20 volunteers needed) Shelby Farms Visitors Center      

Process:
Mert will train each accountant upon arrival on the steps associated with making a March of Dimes bank deposit – which requires a few simple steps.

A Coin Counter will be provided this year, expediting the process of counting all of the coin that teams bring in.

Calculators and tape will be available, but if you are more comfortable with your own calculator, please feel free to bring it.

Dinner, drinks and snacks are provided throughout the evening.

Service hour forms can be provided at each sitting, if needed to attain Volunteer Service Requirements.

Being an CPA is not a requirement to volunteer for this opportunity.  If you have friends or family that would like to volunteer, please feel free to bring them. (Must be 18 years & older)
