A free service to IMA members and their
employers only
We will list job openings below as they become available. If you are
interested in posting a listing of yourself, please complete our Employment

the address below or contact our Director
of Employment,

What
is the IMA Job Bank?
The IMA Job Bank is a free service available to members of the IMA and their
employers. There are actually two job
banks available for members to use: one maintained by the local chapter and one
maintained at the national level. The
job bank allows members to place their resume on file for viewing and consideration
by prospective employers. Employers of
current IMA members may list available positions within their own company.
Employment agencies may list available positions for a monthly fee.
How does it
work?
The
IMA member should contact the director of employment to submit either his personal
resume or to list a job opening at his company.
Resumes should be mailed, hand delivered, or e-mailed to the director of
employment. Job listings may be
submitted in the same manner or by placing a telephone call.
See contact information above.
What
does it cost?
The
service is free to members and their employers. Employment agencies should contact the director of employment for advertising
prices.
How long
does my file stay active?
Each
resume and job listing will remain active for 90 days from the date of receipt.
Employment agency listings will be active for one month.
If you wish your file to remain active for a longer period of time, a new
resume or job listing will need to be submitted.
Will
I be notified if my resume is submitted to a prospective employer?
Yes.
The director of employment will notify you when your resume has been
submitted for consideration to a prospective employer.
Please provide an e-mail address to facilitate notification.
How can I
participate in the national job bank program?
The
national job bank program is available though the Career Center on the IMA website www.imanet.org.
You may search the database through the Job Seekers link, list your resume and
update your account through the Job Seekers Profile link, or list a job opening
through the Employers link. In
addition, the Center provides a Salary Survey link and a Jobs at IMA link.
Will
my current employer have access to my resume?
No.
If your current employer lists a job and you have a resume on file, it will
not be disclosed. All job listings will be required to identify the employer.
Can
job listings at the local chapter be accessed via the website?
We
will list job openings on this page as they become available.
