Dr. Turner is an associate professor in the School of Accountancy where he teaches Information Systems Auditing, Internal Auditing, and Advanced Accounting Information Systems. He has worked in public accounting with KPMG and in industry as a research engineer, corporate controller, corporate president and consultant. He has published

numerous articles in leading journals, has presented many papers in American Accounting Association and international conferences, and coauthored AICPA Audit Monograph #3, which received the AAA Wildman Award for the most significant contribution to accounting literature. He earned his BS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, his MS in Marketing from the University of Colorado and his MBA and Ph.D. in accounting from Texas A&M University. He is a CPA and Certified Internal Auditor.
